Line 413-99 is an upright winter-hardy floribunda type rose with wine-red flowers which fade to cherry-red.  This is the first known floribunda to survive winters in Canadian hardiness zone 5 (USDA zone 4) with only snow as winter protection.
 
Description
 
Growth habit: Upright to 47 inches (120 cm)in height and 28 inches (70 cm)in width
Flower color: Wine-red fading to a cherry-red
Fragrance: Slight
Floral characteristics: 2.5 to 3 inches (6 to 7.5 cm) in diameter, clusters of 5 with 20 to 25 petals
Bud characteristics: Wine red
Foliage: Adequate and medium green to dark green
Leaf shape: Ovate, acuminate and dentate
 
Performance
 
Location: Observed for 7 years at Green Valley, Ontario, Canada
Hardiness zone: Canadian plant hardiness zone 5 or USDA zone 4
Protection: Winter snow
Winter injury: To the snow line
Flowering: June to September with recurrent flowering
Diseases: Highly resistant to powdery mildew and good to very good resistance to black spot
Propagation: Easily propagated from softwood cuttings and grows well on its own roots
