Line 27-01
Line 27-01 is another winter-hardy upright Old Garden type rose with lacey pink, many petalled, erect flowers.  The flower bud is ball-shaped unfurling to the above form and not affected by rain.

Growth habit: Upright to 30 inches (76 cm) and 25 inches (64cm) wide
Flower color: Lacey pink flowers
Fragrance: Slight
Floral characteristics: 4 to 4.5 inches (10 to 11 cm) in diameter, in clusters of 2 to 3 and 40 to 50 frilled petals
Bud characteristics: Deep to medium pink with the bud forming a ball
Foliage: Medium dark green
Leaf shape: Ovate, acuminate and dentate

Location: Observed for 5 years at Green Valley, Ontario, Canada
Hardiness zone: Canadian plant hardiness zone 5 or USDA zone 4
Protection: Winter snow
Winter injury: To the snow line
Flowering: June to September with recurrent flowering
Diseases: Highly resistant to powdery mildew and good to very good resistance to black spot
Propagation: Easily propagated from softwood cuttings and grows well on its own roots
