Line 07-01 is an upright winter-hardy shrub with pale yellow and pink edged flowers, has vigorous growth and many hips. It is a very selective pistillate parent.

Growth habit: Upright to 45 inches (114 cm) and 43 inches (109 cm) wide
Flower color: Light yellow-pink bicolor
Fragrance: Slight
Floral characteristics: 2.5 to 3 inches (6 to 7.5 cm) in diameter, clusters of 3 to 5 with about 15 petals
Bud characteristics: Light yellow edged with pink
Foliage: Abundant, medium to dark green and waxy
Leaf shape: Ovate, acuminate and dentate

Location: Observed for 8 years at Green Valley, Ontario, Canada
Hardiness zone: Canadian plant hardiness zone 5 or USDA zone 4
Protection: Winter snow
Winter injury: Above the snow line
Flowering: June to September with recurrent flowering
Diseases: Highly resistant to powdery mildew and very good resistance to black spot
Propagation: Easily propagated from softwood cuttings and grows well on its own roots
